The word ‘bistro’ refers to a small Parisian restaurant which offered modest meals at low rates. The origin of the term is uncertain but it has quickly caught on and now, you can find bistros all over the world. The modern tables also tend to be smaller than the wooden tables which are usually heavier and occupy more space.
The price of a bistro table will depend on the type of table you choose. For instance, a solid wooden table with two matching wooden high stools will cost a lot more than a glass and steel creation. The size of the table as well as the color and finish of the product will also affect the price. A glass and metal table with adjustable height will cost about $ 200 while an oak wood table with glass top will be around $ 600.
