Glass tables are the perfect way to make your living room look perfect once again. There are thousands of different types of tables and they all come in glass as well. In my opinion, glass looks perfect on its own but if you also combine it with a beautiful table you will see that it looks even better. By the term glass tables are usually referring to the top of the table that is made of glass. However, there are also glass tables that both the top and the base are made from glass. In my opinion, a glass table that has both parts made of glass is kind of hard to mix with other furniture and it could stand out which is something I wouldn’t recommend.

You could get a glass table for your living room and use it as a dining table for you and your family. This always looks great and there is one simple tip that will make it look even better. I have found out that if you place your glass dining table next to window that is a source of natural sunlight, it reflects the lights into your whole house and it makes it much brighter. If you lack of such a place in your living room, what you can do is to place the table under a bright lamp or chandelier and again it would do the trick.

Another very popular use of glass tables is as a coffee table. Get a glass coffee table and place it in front of your sofa in the living room. It is usually the case that we have our television exactly opposite our sofa so I think that the best place for a glass coffee table is between your television and sofa. Again it will reflect the light coming from your TV when it is on and the room will look brighter.

At this point I would like to make something clear. What we are talking about here are glass tables that have a clear glass top. This is not the case however for all glass tables. They can have frosted glass tops or even colored glass tops. However, the tips I’m giving you concerning lighting, mostly work for a clear glass tables.

Side tables are also furniture that will look great with a glass top and the same thing I mentioned before applies here as well. Place your glass side table in such a way that a source of light (a lamp, the sun etc.) reaches the top of your table.

This is what I had to recommend concerning glass tables. There is huge variety of products out there and you will be able to find some perfect pieces for every room in your house.
