Making a collection of your own is always a fun and interesting way to spend your time. Many people collect stamps, books, stickers, bottles, caps and generally anything you can imagine. This is not different in any way with console tables. There are many collectors of furniture as such a collection can gain extreme value through time. Moreover, console tables are beautiful pieces of furniture that have existed for many centuries and this is why many people decide to make collections of them.
There are many thing you need to consider if decide to start your own console table collection. If you have already started some years ago, then you probably know most of these stuff anyway but for those who don’t, I think, this article will prove to be very beneficial.
Collections are hard to maintain and they are usually time consuming. You need to consider how much time and money you want to spend for your collection and most importantly you need to make sure that the money you choose to spend is money that you have and are willing to be separated from. I am not saying that there is no way to make money from such an action by no means. If you collect carefully valuable pieces, you could come to a point where your collection is worth a fortune. Much more than you have spent. This of course holds for every kind of collection. The difference here is that there are many bargains out there that no one is considering and that you can take advantage of.
Money however is not always the issue. There are people that just love collecting historic and beautiful pieces of furniture and just do it as a hobby without concern about the value of their collection. Even if this is the case however, again there are many things that you need to consider. You need to make sure that you are not spending more than you have and even if you have enough, you need to make sure that no one is taking advantage of your ignorance. You need to understand that a console table can cost almost anything. The price tag depends on a variety of things such as:

b) Quality
c) Condition
d) Design and Manufacturing
e) Historic Value
f) Sentimental Value
