As I’m sure all of us can understand, as in anything, quality is a very important factor when considering the price of a console table. The better the quality of the table, the more expensive it will be. Quality is one of those factors that it is almost impossible to neglect in any case. The only good thing about this is that many times, sellers cannot evaluate the quality of the table precisely so there are many bargains out there to find.

Console tables are generally strong pieces of furniture. Even though that is true, they also need a certain amount of care. There are tables that can withstand almost anything but there are others that are very delicate and may suffer from many things such as age, weather conditions or negligence. The other option you have is to hire an expert to work for you when you consider buying a piece. A console table expert is someone who will provide you with tons of help. They know everything that one needs to know about the subject and they will be able to evaluate your options and let you know which the best way to go is. My opinion, however, is that the best choice is to learn yourself. You may not be able to reach the level of an expert very soon, but after a while you will also become a console table expert yourself and no one will be able to trick you into buying something that is just not worth it.

My opinion is that if you decide to purchase a colored glass top dining table, then you should always consider if the furniture in your house are modern enough to sustain such an addition. On the other hand, such a table can also look amazing if dealt with care and thought. It would fit perfectly in a very modern house. When deciding on the color, you should always consider the color of your dining room walls and also the color of other furniture in there. For a centerpiece you should use either something very simple or something really extravagant. Remember, a colored glass top dining table may look great but try not to overdo it. About the base or legs, well again you should be very careful. I would say that a safe choice would be a black base made either of metal or glass. It may sound as a safe choice but trust me; your colored glass top dining table will look amazing if you attach such a base to it.

Well here we are again. This time I am going to discuss the different types of glass top dining tables that exist in the market for tables. Everyone wants a glass top dining table for their house but almost everyone feels that it costs money that if you think about it, it is not worth. Well I’m here to prove you wrong. This is always the simplest choice. This doesn’t mean however that it doesn’t look equally amazing. The biggest difference between a clear glass top dining table and the rest is that it fits perfectly in any environment. Even though what I just said is true, in my opinion, the best flooring to go with such a table is marble. What you should also do is place your new table close to a source of sunlight. You will be able to see that such a place will provide your house with twice the amount of brightness it use to have and the reason is simple. The glass reflects sunlight beautifully. Again as a frosted glass top dining table, a clear glass one comes in every shape and size. There is only one suggestion I can make here and again this is my own opinion. I believe that it is simple and safe to stick with the type of floor you house has concerning the base. As I always say, this is only a suggestion. It may be the case that your house looks amazing with a different type of table so make sure to find what suits you best.

As promised in the previous article, I have made one about two other very important aspects of a console table. Material and size are just as important as color and shape and they can sometimes be even more important to say the truth. Make sure to read everything so that you can choose wisely.

The material your console table is made of

In this case, “normally” or “usually” are not words that I can use. There are thousands of different designs of console tables and almost all of them are made with a different set of material. You can choose to go for glass top with metal legs, marble top with marble legs, glass top with glass legs or you can even choose a console table made entirely of wood. There are two things to consider here. The first and most important is to check which material is dominant in the room your doorway leads to. My opinion is that your console table should be made of that material. The second thing you need to consider is what your floor is made of. There is nothing prettier than a marble console table on a floor made of marble. On the other hand, for example, a wood console table would not look as pretty. Probably the safest choice for a console table is glass top with metallic legs, but that’s just my opinion, so search and find the one you like best.

The size of your console table

This part is a little tricky. The size of your console table is a matter you need to give some attention to. Make sure that you choose to buy a console table that fits perfectly on the wall you want to place it towards. I would suggest that you measure all the dimension of the table to make sure that there is enough space in front of the table and on the sides so that it doesn’t block any path or your door.

These are the main things to consider when buying a console table. Make sure to be patient and look around enough to find a console table that you love as it can stay by your door for years to come. It is a wonderful piece of furniture and there is a spectacular variety of products to choose from. Make sure that you don’t rush into any decision to buy a console table before you follow carefully the steps I outlined in the article. A very important thing to consider before you buy a new dining table set is the finish you want your table to have. It may make a big difference both in price and in the time and effort your table will need to remain in good shape.

On the other hand I believe that you should take this step seriously. A set of well finished dining table and chairs can look amazing and it is able to stand through time especially if you are able to maintain it and keep it in a good shape. As you can probably understand, buying something cheap will backfire in the long run. My opinion is that you should probably pay a little more money when you make the purchase so that you can use your dining table and chairs for many years. You need to consider the ways that are available for you to maintain the finish of your table before buying. It is not hard to give your dining table and chairs a good polish or waxing every now and then and, in my opinion, it is worth your time and effort. You could also use a heavy duty cover to sort this problem out but this is something that I would not recommend and the reason is simple enough. It is very rare that a heavy duty cover flatters your dining table and chairs. I believe that since you decided to spend a certain amount of money in order to buy a beautiful dining table along with some chairs, it would be a shame to hide it with a cover. It’s really not hard to do what it takes in order for the table not to wear out and we explained how to do that in a previous article.

There is one more thing you can consider if you don’t want to put any effort in maintaining your dining table and chairs and the name is glass top. You could buy a glass top dining table which is much easier to maintain in a good shape. All it needs is a good cleaning. You shouldn’t believe what people say about glass top dining tables. People tend to think that this type of table is very hard to clean but, as we have previously discussed, that’s not true. There are very cheap and efficient ways to make sure that your glass top dining table looks shiny and spotless for your romantic dinner with your husband or friends.
